This Privacy Notice explains how Onney collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our app. Onney is designed as a private, local time-capsule letter tool for creating future letters, reminders, write-back notes, and personal review records. We aim to keep your experience simple, private, and secure.
We only collect information needed to provide core app features, improve reliability, and support user requests. We do not sell user data, and we do not use your content for advertising, profiling, or AI model training.

We do not use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers.
We may use limited third-party infrastructure providers for cloud storage, server hosting, or basic system operations. These providers act solely on our behalf and under our instructions, are bound by contractual obligations to protect data security, and are not permitted to use user data for any purpose beyond what we instruct.
Third-party infrastructure providers do not use data for advertising, user profiling, AI training, model optimization, their own purposes, redistribution, or independent access to user content.
Onney does not use facial recognition, biometric identification, face templates, or biometric analysis. We do not create, store, or use facial geometry or biometric identifiers for any purpose.
If any image is processed for app functionality, it is handled only for the requested task and is deleted after processing unless you explicitly save it in your own content history or device storage.
We use information only to provide and maintain app features, including creating letters, saving reminders, managing time-capsule records, displaying history, supporting restore or delete actions, and responding to user requests.
We do not use your information for AI training, advertising, profiling, or selling. We do not use your content to build marketing audiences or to infer sensitive interests for commercial targeting.
We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the app and meet legal or operational requirements.
Where deletion is possible through the app, you may remove records yourself. Where deletion is handled by support, we will process the request within a reasonable time unless retention is required by law.
Information you provide: This may include the content of your letters, titles, reminders, dates, tags, notes, optional attachments, feedback, and messages you send to support.
Information collected automatically: This may include device model, operating system version, app version, crash reports, diagnostics, usage events needed for basic functionality, and technical logs.
Cookies and similar technologies: If Onney uses web-based pages, embedded views, or service components that rely on cookies or similar technologies, they may be used for essential functionality, session management, or security. We do not use cookies for advertising profiling.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect user data. These may include access controls, encryption in transit where available, secure storage practices, least-privilege access, monitoring for abuse, and internal review of systems that handle sensitive content.

By downloading, accessing, or using Onney, you agree to the collection, use, and handling of information described in this Privacy Notice. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the app.
